Our client is an exciting premium drinks business that is continuing to invest in the UK On Trade. As part of their ambitious growth plans, they're looking to appoint a commercially driven Key Account Manager to develop their presence across the North of England.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, identifying new business opportunities and taking ownership of a developing territory. Rather than inheriting a mature customer base, you'll play a key role in shaping long-term commercial success across your region.
The Role
Reporting into the Commercial Controller you'll be responsible for managing and growing relationships across regional wholesalers, managed pub operators and the independent On Trade.
Working autonomously, you'll develop commercial plans, negotiate trading agreements, identify new distribution opportunities and execute activation plans that deliver sustainable growth.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
