Key Account & Customer Support Executive
Are you an experienced Customer Service, Sales Support or Account Coordinator who enjoys building strong relationships with customers and taking ownership of key accounts? I'm working with a successful and established business in Leeds that is looking for a proactive and highly organised Key Account & Customer Support Executive to join its team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being the person customers can rely on, while also working closely with internal teams to ensure orders, queries and issues are handled smoothly from start to finish. The role would particularly suit someone who has experience working with large retail or commercial Key Accounts, enjoys building professional relationships and has excellent attention to detail.
Leeds | £28,000 + 10% quarterly bonus | Hybrid after training
The Role
- Take ownership of customer enquiries across email, telephone and social media, ensuring queries are dealt with promptly and professionally.
- Provide first-line pre-sales and product support, knowing when to escalate more technical queries to the appropriate internal team.
- Manage customer orders from initial purchase through to delivery, resolving payment, cancellation, returns and delivery issues where required.
- Proactively manage a portfolio of Key Accounts, maintaining regular communication and developing strong, professional working relationships.
- Coordinate Key Account orders, working closely with Sales, Accounts, Technical Support, Logistics and other internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Monitor deliveries and resolve any issues with couriers or transport partners.
- Manage customer feedback and online reviews, identifying recurring issues and contributing ideas for improving processes and customer experience.
- Monitor sales orders and returns through the company's ERP system, identifying potential issues before they impact the customer.
- Work as part of a wider Sales Support team, supporting customers across different sales channels.
- Look for opportunities to improve systems, processes and customer service standards.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is outgoing, proactive and commercially minded, with the confidence to build relationships with important customers and the organisational skills to keep multiple accounts and orders moving. You'll ideally have:
- At least 2 years' experience in customer service, sales administration, sales support or account coordination.
- Previous experience working with Key Accounts and building strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging conversations and turn difficult customer situations around.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to use your own initiative.
- The ability to multitask, prioritise and remain calm when working to deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with CRM, case management or ERP systems.
- Additional European Language Skills Would Be a Real Advantage.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX would also be beneficial.

Full training and support
Initially, you'll be office-based in Leeds throughout training and probation, before moving to the hybrid working arrangement.
