Key Account Manager - RetailBathgate
This 6-months fixed term contract role contributes to the success of Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd. Refrigerators and Freezers Division through the delivery of profitable sales and account growth within the UK electrical retail and major domestic appliance (MDA) market.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, the role is responsible for developing and managing key retail accounts and delivering agreed sales targets while growing Liebherr's presence within the UK electrical retail and MDA market. The role will work closely with the National Sales Manager to deliver the company's retail strategy and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
With a passion for achieving sales, volume and margin targets, the successful candidate will develop and manage key retail accounts, driving distribution, ranging, sell-through, promotional activity and commercial performance, while ensuring an outstanding level of customer service.
The successful candidate will have experience within the MDA electrical market and will build strong, professional relationships with retail partners, working collaboratively across the business to maximise sales opportunities, protect brand value and deliver sustainable growth. The role will operate within the company's key result areas: Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, and Leadership.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage a defined portfolio of electrical retail accounts within an agreed geographical area, with clear responsibility for sales, volume, margin and profitability targets.
- Contribute to the growth of Liebherr’s key retail accounts through effective and proactive account management, delivering long-term revenue, volume growth Track and administer rebates, turnover figures and turnover per account, thereby identifying selling trends per model and per category.
- Monitor account performance, including sales, sell-through, stock, distribution, promotional effectiveness, and forecast accuracy. Identifying opportunities and risks.
- Develop strong relationships with key retail contact, including buyers, commercial teams, and relevant retail stakeholders
- Drive distribution, ranging and availability across agreed retail accounts, identifying opportunities to increase product presence and market share.
- Produce accurate and timely sales forecasts and proactively communicate any changes including customer demand, market conditions and potential risks
- Work in harmony with the Sales office organisation and other departments to maximise productivity and reduce costs.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date database of all customer information, contacts, and account activity
- Identify the opportunity to support customers through product demonstrations, training, showroom activity and retail events where appropriate.
- Take an active role in trade and consumer shows, retailer events and customer meetings.
- Represent Liebherr in the correct manner.
- Create and implement individual business plans with designated customers in line with overall business needs. Whilst understanding each accounts requirement
- Report on account progress monthly, identifying any potential issues whilst delivering suggested solution to grow share.
- Maximise sales performance of each Key Account thorough bespoke promo planning
- Create & deliver regular promotional activity throughout Key Trading Periods
- Effectively coordinate Buying Group Trade Shows, includes both Sirius & CIH
- Facilitate Quarterly Business Reviews with each Key Account to effectively grow business share.

The Successful Candidate Will Require The Following
- Able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role or industry
- GSCE passes grades A-C in Mathematics and English
- Full clean driving licence
- Able to demonstrate a passion for sales coupled with excellent results
