Double Barrelled

Double Barrelled is a modern, independent brewery based in Reading, Berkshire. Founded by husband and wife, Mike, and Luci in 2015, the business has grown from them brewing their own wedding favours, to becoming an established brewery in Tilehurst with a beautiful Tap room.

Double Barrelled specialises in beers focusing on quality, drinkability, and balanced flavours. The flagship beers are:

  • Parka (4.5%): A refreshing Citra dry-hopped hazy pale ale.
  • Ding (4.9%): An unpasteurised, unfiltered Keller lager.
  • Kitchen Disco (5.8%): A hazy IPA full of tropical sun-drenched island vibes.

As a family-owned, community-focused business, Double Barrelled prioritises social responsibility and sustainability; almost all the beers are vegan-friendly. The on-site Taproom serves as a hub for the local community.

Role Overview

Double Barrelled is seeking an ambitious, analytical, and relationship-driven Key Account Manager (KAM) to spearhead our commercial growth. The focus will be driving new business through the RPG / MRG on-trade over London, Home Counties, and our Heartland of Reading and surrounding.

You will have one Reading based BDM and one Telesales Account Executive to support the growth of the new business. You will be negotiating joint business plans with groups and RTMs to drive profitable revenue growth.

Our core strategy is to replicate the success we’ve seen in the off-trade / multiple grocers, over the on-trade/ groups with a laser focus on Parka draft.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
