Monotype is seeking a driven and results-oriented Key Account Manager Spanish Speaking to join our growing EMEA Sales team. In this role, you’ll own a portfolio of existing enterprise clients, building deep relationships, driving adoption, and identifying new revenue opportunities that help brands unlock the full potential of Monotype’s creative and technology solutions. We’re looking for a self-starter with strong business acumen, a passion for helping clients succeed, and a track record of growing accounts through consultative selling. You’ll have the autonomy to lead strategic conversations, identify opportunities for expansion, and deliver measurable results within some of the world’s most recognized brands.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and grow a portfolio of existing enterprise accounts, achieving and exceeding retention and expansion targets of 90%+.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to uncover opportunities, increase adoption, and drive revenue growth.
- Identify, qualify, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding client challenges and aligning Monotype’s solutions to their business objectives.
- Act as a trusted partner and advisor, building credibility through product expertise, industry insight, and a consultative approach.
- Lead client conversations end-to-end, including renewals, negotiations, and expansion discussions across key business functions.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure seamless delivery and maximum client value.
- Track performance and pipeline through CRM tools, maintaining accurate forecasting and data-driven decision-making.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitive activity to proactively position Monotype’s solutions and identify whitespace opportunities.
- Represent the voice of the customer internally, sharing insights that drive product innovation and go-to-market strategies.

What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- 4-7 years’ proven experience in account management, sales, or customer growth within SaaS, digital media, or technology environments.
- A hunter mentality within a farmer role—you’re as passionate about nurturing relationships as you are about driving new revenue.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or (preferably) exceeding sales and retention goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior-level decision-makers across creative, marketing, and procurement teams.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional organization and follow-through.
- Strong abilities in prospecting, planning, and implementing Account and Territory Management strategies.
- Familiarity with AI-powered sales tools (e.g., prospecting, forecasting) and an interest in applying AI to improve sales performance and customer engagement.
- Understanding of CRM technology required, experience with Salesforce is preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25% annually.
