We are working with a long-standing and highly valued partner of ours on this exciting opportunity to join their well-established team. We are looking for a hands-on, proactive and commercially driven Key Account Manager who genuinely enjoys sales, building relationships and finding opportunities to grow existing accounts.
You will be regularly out on the road visiting clients, getting to know their businesses, understanding their challenges and identifying new ways to add value.
The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of key customers, developing trusted, long-term relationships and acting as a genuine commercial partner. You will be constantly looking for ways to maximise opportunities, introduce new products and solutions, create additional revenue and ensure your clients remain ahead of the competition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key customer accounts, building strong and lasting relationships.
- Be highly customer-facing, spending regular time on the road visiting clients.
- Develop account plans and identify opportunities to increase revenue and account value.
- Take a proactive approach to identifying new product, service and commercial opportunities.
- Understand each client's business and develop tailored solutions around their requirements.
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations and Production teams to create and deliver innovative customer solutions.
- Present new products, concepts and commercial opportunities directly to customers.
- Keep up to date with market trends, customer requirements and competitor activity.
- Identify seasonal campaigns, promotional opportunities and new ways to develop accounts.
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecasting and account performance.
- Ensure consistently high levels of customer service and communication.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered effectively.
- Continually look for opportunities to improve the customer experience and grow existing relationships.

We are looking for someone who is naturally proactive, commercially curious and hungry to find opportunities. You will enjoy getting in front of customers, asking questions understanding their businesses and coming up with ideas that genuinely add value.

Skills & Knowledge:
- Previous experience in account management, sales or business development.
- A consultative, relationship-led approach to sales.
- A proven ability to develop and grow existing customer accounts.
- A proactive mindset with the confidence to identify and pursue opportunities independently.
- Strong commercial awareness and a genuine desire to achieve and exceed targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Confidence building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to spend significant time visiting customers.
- The ability to manage multiple accounts and competing priorities.
- A genuine passion or interest in sport, with an interest in football particularly desirable.
