Role – Key Account Manager

Industry – Network Power/Batteries

Location – National

Package – £50k-£55k + Bonus + Company Car + Other Benefits

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading provider of industrial batteries and related products. Focusing predominantly on the network power sector, they require a key national account manager to work on a national basis managing and growing some of their largest network power accounts. With a competitive basic and bonus opportunity this is an excellent opportunity for a professional individual who understands data centres looking to take on a new role.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for a number of the company’s largest customer accounts in the network power sector to include data centres
  • Providing a solutions based approach in understanding customer requirements for batteries
  • Form and implement a strategy to ensure customer requirements are continually met
  • Attend various customer site meetings across the country
  • Develop an understanding of all customer requirements in order to understand how to best optimize their battery usage

Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally possess experience of the network power industry in some form, whether that is telecoms, renewables, utilities or other similar sectors. Crucially, you must have experience and evidence of managing current accounts at a high level with a proven track record in the network power market and data centres. The role is national so candidates from across mainland UK will be considered. Travel to Ireland from time to time will also likely be required given a lot of the data centre customer base is located there.

Their network power product range covers telecoms, renewables, utilities, rail, security, data, medical and others.
