Key Account Manager - Wound Care

Salary
£35,000 per annum plus £450 per month car allowance
Holiday Allowance
28 days per calendar year + bank holidays
Role Overview
The Key Account Manager is responsible for growing sales and market share of Gentell's wound care dressing portfolio across a defined region. By building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and provider organisations, this role supports the adoption of Gentell’s clinically effective products that improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Sales
- Deliver and exceed area sales targets.
- Drive product implementation across acute, community and primary care settings.
- Present clinical evidence confidently and communicate product benefits clearly to customers.

Area Management
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity reporting via the CRM system.
- Use sales data and market intelligence to prioritise activity and targeting.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and business updates.
Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Provide product support and education.
- Ensure customers hold sufficient inventory.
Collaboration
- Work with internal teams and sales colleagues to maximise opportunities for Gentell.
- Share market and customer insights with the wider team to help shape business strategy.
- Participate in sales meetings and projects.

- Leg Ulcer Services
- GP Practices
- Community Matrons
- Tissue Viability Nurses

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree is desirable, preferably in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Good organisation and time management.
- Motivated to work independently in a field-based sales role.
- Valid UK driving license.

What Success Looks Like in the Role
Within the first 12 months, the Key Account Manager will:
- Meet or exceed area sales targets while growing key accounts.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities.
- Be recognised by key customers as a trusted, responsive partner.
