Key Account Manager
Scotland/North West

We’re partnering with a leading global drinks business to recruit a Key Account Manager – On Trade, covering Scotland and the North of England.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team and take ownership of a portfolio of accounts and RTM partners, driving volume, distribution, visibility and rate of sale across the region.
As Key Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing strategic customer partnerships, negotiating Joint Business Plans and activation programmes, and turning commercial and customer insight into action. You’ll work closely with the wider National On Trade, Route to Market and Field Sales teams to deliver growth and support the wider On Trade strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and deliver the Scotland & North England account base
- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts and RTM partners across the region
- Build, negotiate and implement Joint Business Plans (JBPs) and customer activation programmes
- Identify opportunities to drive distribution, visibility and rate of sale across the customer base
- Develop insight-led customer plans using commercial data, market knowledge and an understanding of target consumers and occasions
- Monitor activity and ROI, using performance data to optimise customer investment and activation
- Own monthly forecasting and work closely with the Route to Market team to ensure forecast accuracy and support wider business objectives
- Build strong relationships with RTM partners, identifying opportunities across both new and existing customers
- Work collaboratively with the Field Sales and wider commercial teams, sharing customer insight and supporting wider business initiatives

About You:
- Minimum of 18 months’ experience managing accounts within the UK On-Trade
- Commercially sharp, with strong negotiation, structured selling and account planning skills
- Comfortable using data and insight to identify opportunities, build plans and measure commercial performance
- Strong relationship builder with the ability to influence and negotiate with customers and senior stakeholders
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage a broad geographical territory and prioritise effectively
- Collaborative and entrepreneurial, with the confidence to challenge the status quo and identify new opportunities
- A proactive, commercially focused approach with strong personal integrity
