Key Account Manager – Commercial
Salary: Up to £80,000
Location: Midlands/Birmingham

The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Manager to join a growing and well-established MGA on a remote basis covering the Birmingham/Midlands area. This is a high-profile relationship management role, focused on developing and managing some of the business’s largest broking relationships, with individual relationships worth multi-million pounds.
You will join a team of four Key Account Managers, with each individual responsible for approximately 3–4 major broking groups. The team works collaboratively, leveraging each other's local market relationships and expertise where required.
The ideal candidate will have an established reputation within the market, with 5+ years of strong broker relationships, alongside proven experience in account management and project management within Commercial SME.

Key Responsibilities:
- Own and develop 3–4 major broking group relationships, building strong and long-term partnerships with senior stakeholders.
- Manage and grow multi-million-pound broker relationships, identifying new opportunities and maximising retention and profitability.
- Utilise your established local market presence and broker network, while working collaboratively with the wider Key Account Management team.
- Lead and coordinate strategic projects and initiatives, working closely with brokers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Represent the MGA in the market, strengthening its reputation and supporting continued growth across Commercial SME.

About You:
We are looking for an experienced relationship or account manager with a strong understanding of the Commercial SME insurance market and an established network within the broking community.
You will ideally have:
- 5+ years of established broker relationships and a strong market reputation.
- Proven experience managing large, strategically important broking relationships.
- Strong account management and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building abilities.
- A collaborative and commercially minded approach, with the ability to identify and develop new opportunities.
