Company Description

Chugai Pharma UK Ltd (CPU) was established in 1993 and manages Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.’s commercial and medical activities in the UK, with multi-disciplinary teams working across haemophilia and oncology. The team seek to form strong relationships with their customers, and our dedicated health solutions team explore the potential to work collaboratively with healthcare organisations to deliver improvements to patient care, including the use of digital solutions to support an omnichannel approach.

The size of CPU makes it an agile partner for companies seeking to scale their business without expanding their workforce, and the team is set-up to support partnerships that could involve buying, licensing, or co-promoting medicines in our focus therapy areas. CPU is a regional business and wholly owned subsidiary of Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., one of Japan’s leading research-based pharmaceutical companies.

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Partner to join our Haemophilia Business Unit, covering a portfolio of priority NHS Trusts across the Northwest & Yorkshire.

This is a unique opportunity to work within a highly collaborative team, partnering with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to optimise patient care and deliver sustainable business growth.

About the Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will:

  • Develop and execute key account plans across priority NHS Trusts
  • Analyse patient pathways to identify opportunities that improve patient outcomes and service delivery
  • Build trusted relationships with NHS stakeholders, using a deep understanding of local healthcare systems, priorities and customer needs
  • Collaborate across Medical, Marketing, Commercial and other cross-functional teams to develop and deliver customer focused solutions
  • Utilise data and insights to prioritise opportunities and maximise account performance
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement

About You

We're looking for a customer focused account manager who can combine strategic thinking with strong execution.

You will have:

  • Significant pharmaceutical Key Account Management experience.
  • Experience working within secondary care, specialist care or non-malignant haematology environments.
  • Business or Life Sciences Degree.
  • ABPI qualification (or equivalent).
  • Driving License and Car.
  • A strong track record of influencing and partnering with complex NHS stakeholders.
  • Excellent commercial, analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic account plans.
  • A collaborative mindset and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
