Are you a Key Stage 1 Teacher who is looking for a new opportunity? Are you hoping to join an experienced and supportive team?
Chalk Education is recruiting for a Primary Teacher to cover Maternity Leave in a mixed Year 1 & 2 class. The school is located in North Nottinghamshire and is known for its warm, welcoming environment. This is a small, village school that has high aspirations for its students. The school is easily commutable from Worksop, Retford & Doncaster.
Alongside the staff you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting the welfare of children and young people.
The ideal candidate will have:
- QTS or another equivalent, recognised qualification
- Recent experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 classroom
- Knowledge of phonics screening and Year 2 SATs
- A warm, nurturing and creative classroom approach
