£25,614 - £26,846 per annum, pro rata

Hours

Up to 27.75 hours per week. Monday – Friday, 8.45am – 3.30pm (8.30 start on Wednesday). Also potential of additional MDSA and WAC hours in the future.

About the Role

Birchwood Primary School are seeking to appoint an excellent Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage One (Year one initially).

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with drive and motivation who:

  • is passionate and committed to providing the best opportunities for our children
  • is able to encourage children to develop a passion for learning through a creative and exciting curriculum
  • has high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour
  • has experience in working with children individually, in small groups or in the classroom
  • has a proven track record of positively impacting upon pupil outcomes throughout KS1
  • is passionate about phonics and teaching children to read
