Key Stage 2 Teacher - September Start | Hayes | Permanent Role

Location: Hayes, West London

Start Date: September 2026

Salary: M1-M6 Outer London Pay Scale

Contract: Permanent | Full-Time


Make September the Start of an Exciting New Chapter

A friendly and ambitious primary school in Hayes is preparing for the new academic year and is looking for a passionate Key Stage 2 Teacher to join its team permanently.

Your Role

You'll take responsibility for your own KS2 class while working closely with colleagues across the phase.

You'll

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that build knowledge and confidence.
  • Adapt teaching to support pupils with different abilities and learning needs.
  • Track pupil progress and use assessment to shape future learning.
  • Create a calm, positive and purposeful classroom.
  • Encourage independence, resilience and a love of learning.
  • Work alongside teaching assistants to provide targeted support.
  • Build strong relationships with pupils and families.
  • Contribute to school trips, clubs and enrichment activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning.

What We're Looking For

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Have suitable primary teaching experience or ECT placements.
  • Understand the KS2 National Curriculum.
  • Have strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Create positive relationships with children.
  • Be confident differentiating lessons effectively.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Be enthusiastic about becoming part of the wider school community.
