Role Description
The Keyholder is a 20 hour position, on-site role based in Rushden, responsible for supporting daily store operations and acting as a point of contact in the absence of store management. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Opening and closing the store
- Securing premises
- Handling cash procedures
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and standards

The Keyholder greets customers, provides knowledgeable product guidance, supports fitting and styling needs, and drives retail sales through attentive customer service. This role also assists with:

- Visual merchandising

- Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor
- Supporting training and development of team members
The Keyholder collaborates closely with the store team to meet sales targets, enhance the customer experience, and uphold the brand’s reputation.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Experience, with a focus on building rapport and resolving inquiries effectively.
- Solid Retail Sales experience and Product Knowledge, particularly in footwear or fashion, to confidently advise customers and support sales goals.
- Clear and professional Communication skills to interact with customers, team members, and management, both in person and in writing.
- Previous experience in a keyholder, supervisory, or similar retail role, including responsibility for opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple tasks, and work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Proactive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining store standards and following security procedures.
- Basic numeracy and comfort using point-of-sale systems; prior experience in a branded retail environment is an advantage.
