Kia Automotive Service Technician
Location: Crowley Kia, Bristol, CT
Position: Automotive Service Technician
Compensation: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour, based on skills, experience, certifications, productivity, and qualifications.
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,000, based on relevant Kia certifications, technical experience, and demonstrated skill level. Sign-on bonus details and eligibility requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Crowley Kia is seeking motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our growing service department. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Kia vehicles and other makes as assigned.
- Diagnose electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, steering, suspension, HVAC, and brake system concerns.
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend needed repairs and maintenance.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment, technical service information, and repair manuals.
- Maintain productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction standards.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and management regarding repair status and recommendations.
- Follow all dealership safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
- Participate in Kia and dealership training programs.

Qualifications
Required
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to diagnose and repair automotive systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Kia certification(s).
- ASE certification(s).
- Previous dealership experience.
- Experience with advanced diagnostics and electrical systems.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform automotive repair activities throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and greater weights with assistance or equipment.
- Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools.
Schedule
- Full-time position with availability during dealership operating hours.
- Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs.
