TINK TEAM LTD — Remote
Tink Team is an independent game studio developing multiple PC titles for Steam, supported by an international team of developers, artists, animators, designers, and audio professionals.
We are now preparing a Kickstarter campaign for one of our upcoming PC games, and we are looking for an experienced Kickstarter Campaign Manager to take ownership of the campaign strategy, preparation, and execution.
⚠️ PLEASE READ THE COMPENSATION SECTION BEFORE APPLYING. This is not a salaried position. There is also no equity, ownership, or percentage of the game’s future revenue attached to this role. Compensation will instead be based on an agreed percentage of the funds successfully raised through the Kickstarter campaign.
The Role
We are not looking for someone who simply understands digital marketing. We are looking for someone who understands Kickstarter specifically — how successful campaigns are structured, prepared, launched, promoted, and managed from pre-launch through completion. You will work directly with the studio leadership and coordinate with our existing game development, art, and marketing resources. Your objective is simple: Build the strongest possible Kickstarter campaign and help turn interest in the game into committed backers.
What You Will Do
- Develop the overall Kickstarter campaign strategy
- Create the complete pre-launch and launch roadmap
- Define campaign positioning, messaging, and campaign structure
- Help determine the funding goal and campaign milestones
- Design the reward and pledge-tier strategy
- Help structure stretch goals where appropriate
- Plan the Kickstarter pre-launch page
- Help prepare the campaign page structure and written content
- Identify which screenshots, renders, GIFs, videos, and other creative assets are required
- Coordinate asset requirements with our internal development and art teams
- Develop the audience-building strategy before launch
- Build the campaign communication calendar
- Plan Kickstarter updates and backer communications
- Help develop email, social media, and community activation strategies
- Identify relevant creators, press, communities, and promotional opportunities
- Review campaign metrics and adjust strategy during the live campaign
- Manage the campaign from preparation through launch and completion
- Help prepare post-campaign backer communication and handover

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
