Children’s Activities Assistant
Location: Maidstone Leisure, Mote Park, ME15 7RN
Salary: Paying up to £12.71 plus excellent benefits
Schedule: Casual contract, flexible to work various shifts between 8am – 6pm in school holidays, weekend shifts and after school times to meet business needs.

What you’ll do as a Children’s Activities Assistant
- Deliver fun, safe, and engaging sports, arts, and craft activities in line with programme requirements.
- Support the day-to-day operation of soft play activities.
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain a high-quality service for children and families.
- Complete and maintain accurate records and documentation in line with site procedures.
- Follow safeguarding requirements, policies, and procedures at all times.

- Understanding of holiday scheme provision and activity delivery.
- Strong communication and customer care skills.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a range of activities.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible, adaptable, and enthusiastic about working with children.
- Demonstrates high personal integrity, professionalism, and caring behaviour.

Vetting and checks:
- An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role. This includes spent and unspent convictions, cautions, and any relevant information held by local police, in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and safeguarding requirements. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire to allow us to provide any support needed for you to succeed in the role.
