Location
Nationwide with travel to offices as required and London, Foley Street
Hours
37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Clients and Markets Director to join our Kier Places team. This is an exciting opportunity to join Kier Places as we embark on an ambitious growth journey. As Clients and Markets Director, you'll be a strategic member of our Senior Leadership Team, shaping and delivering the commercial growth strategy that will enable us to significantly expand our business. You'll lead our sales, business development, bid, customer, market intelligence, and marketing functions, driving sustainable revenue growth while strengthening customer relationships and enhancing our brand across the public and private sectors.
Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering the work winning strategy and roadmap to achieve sustainable growth
- Building influential relationships with customers and key stakeholders to strengthen market position and unlock opportunities
- Leading the development of our market proposition and external profile to enhance brand recognition and credibility
- Creating a high-performing, customer-centric culture across sales, business development, and work-winning functions
- Shaping business strategy using customer and market insight to inform investment priorities and growth opportunities

Requirements
- Significant executive-level experience leading sales, marketing, or business development functions, ideally within facilities management, construction, infrastructure, or related sectors
- Proven track record of delivering substantial revenue growth in complex, multi-service organisations
- Demonstrable success in building customer-centric organisations and high-performing teams
- Experience developing and repositioning brands within competitive markets
- Strong commercial, strategic, and financial acumen with the ability to influence at senior levels
