Kier Severn Trent Water Projects – Expression of Interest

About Kier

At Kier Group, our purpose is to sustainably deliver vital infrastructure across the UK and build lasting legacies through supporting our clients and the communities in which we operate. With an order book value in excess of £10bn, we're committed to building resilience and creating innovative solutions for our customers.

As part of our continued growth in the UK water sector, we're proud to be working in partnership with Severn Trent to deliver its ambitious investment programme across the Midlands and surrounding regions. This programme will focus on modernising water and wastewater infrastructure, improving environmental performance, increasing network resilience, and supporting communities through long-term sustainable investment across the region.

Through this framework, Kier Group will play a key role in delivering major infrastructure improvements across treatment works, pipelines, pumping stations and wider network assets, helping to support the UK's water future.

Career opportunities and registering your interest

To support the delivery of these major infrastructure projects, we are building a strong pipeline of talent across our Severn Trent Water framework. We're looking to attract experienced professionals with a background in major project delivery, ideally within the water or utilities sector, to help us deliver these essential projects.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
