Role Description
This full-time on-site role is based in Armagh, you will be responsible for designing custom kitchen and bedroom spaces that align with client needs and project specifications. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients, assessing their requirements, and creating detailed design plans, layouts, and 3D visuals. The designer will collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and aligned with Glenvale’s quality standards. The role also involves preparing quotations, supporting sales conversations, guiding clients through material and finish selections, and providing attentive customer service throughout the project lifecycle. The designer is expected to maintain accurate project documentation, manage timelines, and help ensure a smooth installation process.

Qualifications
- Strong Design skills, including space planning, material selection, and layout development.
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to understand client needs and present design solutions clearly.
- Sales abilities, including preparing quotes, explaining options, and supporting clients in decision-making.
- Knowledge of Cabinetry, including construction methods, finishes, and functional hardware.
- Proficiency with design software (e.g., CAD or 3D design tools) and basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience in residential interior design or kitchen and bath showroom environments is beneficial.
- Relevant qualification in interior design, architectural technology, or a related field is an advantage.
