Dajon Interiors is a family-run interior design business with over 25 years of experience serving Gloucester, Cheltenham, and The Cotswolds. The company specialises in bespoke kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom projects that blend creativity, functionality, and detailed craftsmanship. Designers work closely with clients to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and vision, creating spaces that are tailored to individual needs. From initial concept through to installation, Dajon Interiors manages each stage of the process with professionalism and care, offering innovative solutions for both complete makeovers and targeted upgrades.
Role Description
The Kitchen and Bath Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Gloucester. In this position, the designer meets with clients to assess needs, discuss design concepts, and develop tailored kitchen and bathroom solutions. Daily tasks include:

- Creating design layouts
- Selecting cabinetry, fixtures, and finishes
- Preparing proposals and quotations
- Coordinating with suppliers and installation teams
The role involves guiding clients through the design process, providing product recommendations, and ensuring projects align with budget and timelines. The role is also a sales-focused position and includes:
- Showroom presentations
- Outreach and sales activities
- Helping maintain high standards of customer experience and project quality
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in Kitchen & Bath Design, including space planning, material selection, and design visualisation.
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage with clients, understand requirements, and present design solutions clearly.
- Experience in Sales, with the ability to prepare quotations, explain product options, and support clients in decision-making.
- Knowledge of Cabinetry, including styles, construction, and installation considerations.
- Proficiency with design software (e.g., CAD or kitchen/bath design tools) and basic MS Office skills.
- Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience in interior design or a related field; relevant qualifications or certifications in design are an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site with a small team and partners, and to adapt to client needs and project changes.
