Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Kitchen and Bathroom Designer role based in Bromsgrove. The designer will meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget, and translate these into functional and attractive kitchen and bathroom layouts. Day-to-day tasks include creating design concepts and detailed plans, selecting materials and finishes, and preparing quotations and proposals. The role involves coordinating with suppliers and installation teams, ensuring designs are feasible and delivered to agreed standards and timelines. The designer will also support showroom activities, provide product guidance, and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the design and installation process.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and clearly explain design options.
- Awareness of hygiene and practical considerations in kitchen and bathroom layouts, including safe and efficient use of space.
- Experience with interior design or kitchen and bathroom design, including space planning and material selection.
- Proficiency with design software (e.g., CAD or similar) and basic technical understanding of installation requirements.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Comfort working on-site in a showroom or design studio environment in Bromsgrove, collaborating with sales and installation teams.
- Relevant qualification in interior design, architectural design, or a related field is beneficial but not essential with suitable experience.
