Are you an enthusiastic and committed person? If you are passionate about providing nutritious and tasty meals and snacks, being part of the ESCCape Kitchen team at County Hall, Lewes could be the job for you.

As a part of the kitchen team, you will be the face of the team mainly on front-of-house duties serving and selling food and refreshments. You will also help to lead the way in providing healthy meals and maintaining a clean kitchen and service area environment and undertaking routine checks such as stock taking and around hygiene and cleanliness.

There will be chances also to show off your culinary skills by suggesting a menu item and even cooking it yourself.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Creativity, with a flair for good presentation of food, ensuring it is attractive to those with an appetite for our food.
  • A professional approach to food management, food hygiene, and good customer skills.
  • Initiative to plan, prioritise, and work with minimal supervision and work independently.

Interviews will be in person at County Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes. Shortlisting will be completed within two weeks of the closing date. If you are shortlisted for the role, you will then receive an invite to interview.
