Role Description

Front-of-house duties involve:

  • Welcoming customers
  • Taking orders
  • Serving food and beverages
  • Handling payments
  • Responding to customer inquiries with a professional and friendly attitude

The role requires close collaboration with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods and consistent quality in both product and customer experience. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required depending on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform basic food preparation, follow hygiene and safety procedures, and maintain a clean kitchen area.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, including taking orders, serving customers, and handling payments accurately.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with reliability and attention to detail in both kitchen and front tasks.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or café settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to changing demands, and uphold company standards for service and presentation.
  • Basic numeracy and comfort using point-of-sale systems or learning them quickly.
  • Right to work in the UK and availability to work flexible part-time shifts in London.
