Kitchen Assistant - Fresh & Ready by Dori
Dorina Food Group Ltd
Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Pay: £13.05 per hour
Employment Type: Part-time and Full-time
Fresh & Ready by Dori, a new food concept by Dorina Food Group Ltd, is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team ahead of our launch in Boston, Lincolnshire.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Chef and support the daily preparation and smooth running of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with fresh food and ingredient preparation
- Support bakery, deli and other food preparation
- Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene
- Follow food safety, allergen and cross-contamination procedures
- Correctly store, label and rotate food and ingredients
- Assist with stock organisation and deliveries
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils and preparation areas
- Follow recipes, portioning standards and operating procedures
- Support opening and closing routines
- Help maintain consistent food quality and presentation

What We're Looking For
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is desirable but not essential
- Reliable, punctual and organised
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to hygiene and cleanliness
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a small team

Qualifications & Training
Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene for Catering certification is desirable but not essential. Food safety, allergen awareness and role-specific training will be provided as required.
