Kitchen Assistant at Inspired Villages

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our hospitality team, supporting the smooth running of our kitchen and delivering an excellent dining experience for residents and guests. Working closely with the Head Chef and wider hospitality team, you’ll assist with food preparation, maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and help create a warm, welcoming dining environment for residents to enjoy every day.

The Role

  • Supporting the kitchen team in delivering a full food service across breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Assisting with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes that are well-presented and enjoyable for residents and guests
  • Helping prepare and set up the restaurant and dining areas for service
  • Supporting with clearing tables, washing up, resetting dining areas, and replenishing condiments and supplies
  • Serving food and collecting dishes from the kitchen when required
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation across the kitchen and restaurant areas
  • Working collaboratively with the wider hospitality team to deliver an excellent dining experience.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Kitchen Assistant or Kitchen Porter in a busy kitchen environment
  • Good understanding of basic cooking methods, ingredients, kitchen equipment, and food preparation procedures
  • Passion for food preparation, presentation, and delivering a high-quality dining experience
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and use initiative without constant supervision
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to support wherever needed in the kitchen.
