How you’ll power our business as a Kitchen Assistant
As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll support the day-to-day running of our retail kitchen outlet, helping us deliver excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of food preparation, cleanliness and food safety. Working as part of the wider retail team, you’ll help create a welcoming experience for customers and ensure our kitchen operates efficiently.
What you’ll be doing
- Prepare and serve food in line with brand standards
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a positive customer experience
- Support food preparation and maintain high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen
- Follow food hygiene standards and HACCP requirements
- Complete daily and scheduled cleaning tasks
- Follow company policies covering health & safety, food safety, cash handling and stock control
- Support stock management and deliveries, reporting shortages where required
- Help contribute to site sales targets
- Deliver fast and efficient service during busy trading periods
- Work collaboratively as part of the wider retail team

What we’ll need from you
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally, some previous retail or food service experience
- A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering great service
- Good awareness of food hygiene, cleanliness and safe working practices
- A team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
- The ability to follow procedures and maintain high standards
- Reliability and a positive approach to working as part of a team
