Location: Dunblane Juniors, Central Scotland (Perthshire) FK15 0JY
Salary: £21,093.80 Equated Pay
Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7 on a roster system
Shift times: Earlies 06:30 – 14:30; Lates 12:00 – 19:30

Your day-to-day as Kitchen Assistant

  • Working within a team to maintain cleaning standards within kitchen and dining rooms using a roster system
  • Serve food to pupils and school staff within a boarding school environment
  • Support with kitchen checklists and post-service analysis
  • Follow kitchen procedures and hygiene standards
  • Take part in ongoing training and development
  • Take deliveries

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous kitchen experience would be an advantage but not necessary as training will be given
  • Willingness to complete via our e-learning on food safety and Health and safety
  • Effective communication and a team-first attitude

Additional Requirements:

To be eligible, you must:

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
  • Be able to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) clearance via Disclosure Scotland and MoD BPSS security clearance
