Trowbridge Oaks is a homely care home offering nursing, residential, palliative, and respite care.
- The landscaped gardens at this well-equipped modern home are fully wheelchair accessible and can be enjoyed by all residents on sunny days.
- A bright conservatory can be enjoyed whatever the weather. Many of the well-furnished bedrooms have garden views, and all have been furnished and decorated to create a homely feel.
- A varied seasonal menu is prepared using fresh produce and there are always hot and cold options. The chef also caters for individual tastes and special needs.
- Residents are encouraged to get involved with home life, whether helping with light gardening or spending time socialising at mealtimes.

You’ll Help Us Make Health Happen By
- Acting as the link between the main kitchen and our residents
- Assisting the chefs to plate meals, prepare food trolleys, and ensure all preparation areas are kept clean and tidy
- Monitoring stock rotation, complying to company policies and procedures following all mandatory COSHH and HACPP guidelines
- Assisting with catering for special events such as summer BBQs and Christmas parties
Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role
- A passion for food with previous experience working in a kitchen and a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- You want to deliver an excellent service at each meal and make our residents feel at home.
- You’ll understand the importance of maintaining high standards in and around the home, ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience.
- Working with the wider kitchen and care home teams - you’re comfortable communicating with others, cherishing the little moments with our residents.
