Join the Agincare family as a Kitchen Assistant at The Coombs Care Home. You’ll play an important part in preparing nutritious, delicious meals that our residents can look forward to, helping to make mealtimes enjoyable, comforting and something to look forward to.

We’re Looking For
- Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK
- Previous kitchen experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Flexible to work alternate weekends and to work split shifts
- A positive, team-focused attitude
Your Role
- Support the chef to prepare balanced, nutritious meals and snacks
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Follow food safety, COSHH, and health & safety guidelines
- Work both independently and as part of the team
- Engage with residents, bringing warmth and friendliness to the dining experience

This position is working 48 hours over a 2 week period:
- Week 1: Monday 8am-2pm, Wednesday 8am-2pm, Friday 8am-2pm and 3pm-7pm
- Week 2: Monday 8am-2pm, Saturday 8am-2pm and Sunday 8am-2pm and 3pm-7pm
You don’t need a care background, your care shows in the meals you help prepare and the welcoming environment you create.
