About The Role

Based in Croxley Green, this temporary Kitchen Assistant position with Berkeley Scott supports school catering across Watford and nearby areas. Working flexible shifts within term time, the successful candidate helps prepare basic food, serves meals and refreshments to pupils and staff, washes up, and keeps kitchen areas clean. Assisting chefs and following food safety and hygiene procedures form a key part of daily duties, along with general dining hall support. Previous catering experience is helpful though not required; reliability, a positive approach, and the ability to work well within a team matter more. Pay is competitive and the contract is temporary, suiting those seeking varied school-based work.

Duties Include

Requirements

  • Previous catering experience is beneficial but not essential

IMPORTANT DBS REQUIREMENT

A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate for the Child Workforce is essential for these roles.
