Holiday Inn Express Trafford City, Manchester
£20,402.02 per annum / £13.07 per hour, 30 hours per week across 5 days
We're looking for a Kitchen Assistant to help our kitchen team prepare and cook dishes to menu specification, day in and day out, with every plate presented to a high standard.
Day to day, that means:
- Assisting with the preparation and cooking of food to meet menu requirements
- Ensuring all dishes are prepared and served to a high standard of quality and presentation
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and all food preparation areas
- Following food safety, health and hygiene regulations and procedures at all times
- Assisting with stock rotation and proper storage of food items
- Working closely with the rest of the kitchen team to keep daily service running smoothly
- Staying flexible on shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, as the rota requires
Hospitality doesn't run 9 to 5, and neither do we. Our kitchen operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year, so shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

About the Hotel
Holiday Inn Express Manchester – Trafford City sits in Trafford Park, one of Europe's largest industrial estates, and is within walking distance of Trafford Centre, Event City and Old Trafford, with Salford Quays and Manchester city centre both close by. The hotel has 220 en-suite bedrooms, the Express Café & Bar for all-day dining, a mini gym, and three air-conditioned meeting rooms hosting up to 40 delegates. On-site parking is available for guests.
