We are looking for a Casual Kitchen Assistant / Kitchen Porter to join our hardworking and friendly kitchen team. While this role involves physical work and dishwashing, it also offers a genuine opportunity to start your culinary journey. We are a from-scratch kitchen, and you’ll be working alongside classically trained, skilled chefs who are passionate about food and developing people. If you’re reliable, team-focused, and keen to learn, this could be the perfect first step into a professional kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning the kitchen to ensure it is ready for the next day
- Maintaining food storage areas, including fridges and freezers
- Receiving deliveries and organising stock correctly
- Washing dishes, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Removing kitchen waste and disposing of it safely
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment such as cookers and food mixers
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation (washing, peeling, chopping ingredients)
- Assisting the kitchen team as required during service
Requirements
- No experience necessary – full training will be provided
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Full-time hours available for the right candidate
