Our kitchen only works well when it’s clean, organised and ready for the day. As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play a big part in keeping everything running smoothly, from cleaning equipment and work areas to keeping things organised, supporting prep and making sure the kitchen is always safe and ready for the team.

You don’t need loads of experience. What matters most is that you’re reliable, happy to get stuck in and take real pride in keeping things clean and in order.

Just so you know: We won't start looking at applications for this role until the 28th of September.

Reporting to: Restaurant Leader

Contract: Full-time & Part-time available

Pay: €14.15–€14.50 per hour, depending on experience and role

What you’ll do

  • Keep the kitchen spotless
  • Clean and sanitise work surfaces, floors, sinks, equipment and utensils throughout the day so the kitchen stays safe and ready to use.
  • Look after equipment
  • Clean kitchen equipment properly, follow the correct cleaning procedures and help make sure everything is stored safely and where it should be.
  • Keep things organised
  • Make sure the kitchen is tidy, stock is stored correctly and work areas stay clear and organised throughout the shift.
  • Support the prep team
  • If you have time outside of cleaning, you can help with basic food prep, washing and preparing ingredients, and getting the kitchen set up for the day.
  • Stay on top of cleaning
  • Work through cleaning checklists, spot jobs that need doing and take action rather than waiting to be asked.
  • Keep food and people safe
  • Follow food safety, allergen, hygiene and health & safety procedures carefully at all times.
  • Jump in when it gets busy
  • Support the wider kitchen and restaurant team wherever needed, especially during busy periods.
