At The Ship, we've been welcoming guests to the banks of the River Thames since 1786. From sunny afternoons in our famous beer garden to packed weekends and unforgettable events, we're a fast-paced venue where no two days are ever the same.
We're looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our kitchen team. Whether you've worked in kitchens before or you're looking to start your hospitality career, we'll give you all the training and support you need to succeed.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting our chefs with food preparation and keeping service running smoothly.
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and fully stocked throughout the day.
- Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment to the highest standards.
- Following food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Working as part of a friendly, supportive team in a busy kitchen environment.
- Helping deliver the quality food our guests know and love.
What We're Looking For
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, hardworking and takes pride in their work.
- A great team player who isn't afraid to get stuck in.
- Previous kitchen experience is a bonus, but not essential—we'll provide full training.
