Join the Agincare family as a Kitchen Assistant at our Rochester Care Home. You’ll play an important part in preparing nutritious, delicious meals that our residents can look forward to, helping to make mealtimes enjoyable, comforting and something to look forward to.

We’re Looking For
- Minimum 12 months’ right to work in the UK
- Previous experience in a kitchen setting is essential and must be able to bake cakes
- Working 36 hours per week on a two week rolling rota:
- Week One - Monday 9am to 4.30pm, Tuesday 10am to 6.30pm, Wednesday 10am to 6.30pm, Thursday 10am to 6.30pm and Friday 10am to 6.30pm
- Week Two - Monday 9.30am to 5pm, Wednesday 10.30am to 6.30pm, Thursday 10.30am to 6.30pm, Saturday 10am to 6.30pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm

Your Role
- Support the chef to prepare balanced, nutritious meals and snacks
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Follow food safety, COSHH, and health & safety guidelines
- Work both independently and as part of the team
- Engage with residents, bringing warmth and friendliness to the dining experience
