The Role

Love building genuine connections and closing deals? As a Kitchen and Bathroom Design Sales Consultant, you’ll put your sales skills to work, helping customers create spaces they feel proud of.

From the first showroom conversation to visiting customers at home, you’ll understand their needs, recommend the right solutions and guide them towards a purchase. You’ll own the customer journey from start to finish, combining great service with the drive to achieve your sales targets.

Bring your sales experience and we will provide the training, tools and support to develop your design skills and long term career.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive sales: turn enquiries into sales by finding the right solutions for each customer’s space and budget, working towards your targets.
  • Generate leads: proactively create opportunities within your showroom and follow up with potential customers.
  • Build trusted relationships: support customers in-store, virtually and at home, helping them make confident decisions.
  • Create inspiring design: use our new 3D Cloud design tools to create, present and refine kitchen and bathroom designs with customers.
  • Deliver our full Wickes customer journey: whether it’s in-store, virtual, or at a customer’s home, you’ll treat every customer with the same attention.
  • Look after your showroom maintaining displays and keeping up our high standards.
  • Stay compliant with all company policies and regulations including finance, GDPR, and health & safety.

About You

  • You have sales experience: you understand the customer needs, recommend solutions and confidently close a sale.
  • You’re motivated by results: you enjoy working towards targets and earning commission while doing what’s right for customers.
  • You’re customer-focused: you listen, build a rapport and develop trusted relationships.
  • You’re keen to learn: you’re ready to get to grips with our products and design tools. Previous design experience is helpful, but isn’t essential.
  • You’re calm and confident: you handle questions and challenges professionally and keep things moving.
  • You’re organised and proactive: you follow up, stay on top of details and take ownership.
  • You’re industry savvy: you keep up to date with the latest trends and understand your local market
  • You’ll need a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle to visit customers at home.
