Kitchen & Bathroom Sales Designer
Solutions Bathroom & Kitchen Centre – Sutton-in-Ashfield
£27,000–£29,500 basic salary, depending on experience | Uncapped commission | Realistic OTE £60,000+

Are you an experienced kitchen or bathroom designer who loves bringing ideas to life—and gets a genuine buzz from turning a brilliant design into a sale?
At Solutions Bathroom & Kitchen Centre, you’ll create inspiring kitchens and bathrooms for customers who have already chosen to speak to us. You’ll manage each opportunity from the first design consultation through to the completed installation, taking real ownership of the customer journey.
You won’t be expected to spend your time cold-calling or searching for your own leads. Our front-of-house team and technology manage the pipeline and fill your diary with warm, qualified appointments.
That allows you to focus on what you do best: understanding customers, creating outstanding designs, building trust and confidently converting opportunities into sales.

The opportunity
You’ll take ownership of the customer journey from the moment an enquiry reaches your diary through to the successful completion of their kitchen or bathroom project.
Every customer, property and space is different. You’ll listen carefully, understand what the customer wants to achieve and use your creativity, product knowledge and commercial ability to produce a design they are excited to buy.

You’ll work across a wide variety of projects—from stylish bathroom renovations to complete kitchen transformations—helping customers make confident decisions about layouts, products, finishes and budgets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming customers and delivering engaging showroom consultations
- Visiting customers’ homes to measure spaces and understand their requirements
- Creating inspiring, accurate and commercially strong kitchen and bathroom designs
- Producing and presenting clear, professional quotations
- Bringing designs to life with confidence and enthusiasm
- Guiding customers through layouts, products, finishes, appliances and available options
- Building strong relationships and asking confidently for the sale
- Following up opportunities professionally and keeping projects moving
- Increasing order value through relevant, customer-focused recommendations
- Managing your appointments and sales pipeline through our CRM
- Maintaining regular communication throughout the customer journey
- Working closely with our wider team to deliver an excellent completed project
Who we’re looking for:
We want to meet an experienced designer who combines genuine creativity with strong commercial ability.
You’ll be someone who:
- Has at least three years’ kitchen or bathroom design experience
- Builds trust and rapport naturally
- Can turn a customer’s ideas into an exciting, practical and commercially viable design
- Is comfortable presenting, negotiating and asking confidently for the sale
- Understands how to increase order value without compromising customer trust
- Follows up consistently and doesn’t allow good opportunities to go cold
- Works with pace, accuracy and excellent attention to detail
- Takes ownership of their results and wants to be rewarded for their performance
- Is confident using CAD and customer-management systems
- Has a full UK driving licence
Experience using ArtiCAD or similar CAD software would be highly advantageous. Familiarity with Pipedrive, TruBlue or another CRM system would also be beneficial.

Working hours
This is a full-time, showroom-based position working five days per week.
You’ll work Saturdays, with one weekday off on a rota basis.
