Karl Benz Kitchens has been designing and installing bespoke kitchens in beautiful homes across the UK for over a decade. The company offers handmade British, modern Italian, and functional German kitchen collections, providing clients with a wide range of premium design options. A dedicated team delivers a friendly, professional design service supported by a state-of-the-art CAD system and strong industry experience. Prospective customers and partners are encouraged to visit the showroom or get in touch for expert advice and guidance on their kitchen projects.

Role Description

This full-time Kitchen Designer role at Karl Benz Kitchens is an on-site position based in Sheffield. The Kitchen Designer will meet with clients to understand their requirements, develop bespoke kitchen concepts, and create detailed designs using CAD software. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Preparing layouts and specifications
  • Presenting design proposals
  • Guiding clients through material, appliance, and cabinetry selections
  • Coordinating with suppliers and installers, ensuring designs are accurately translated into finished projects
  • Providing ongoing customer support throughout the design and installation process

The role also involves contributing to showroom presentations, maintaining product knowledge, and supporting sales activities to help grow the business.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Kitchen Design, including space planning and layout development.
  • Experience with Cabinetry design and understanding of materials, finishes, and fittings.
  • Excellent Customer Service abilities, with a focus on building long-term client relationships.
  • Clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Sales skills to present design solutions, handle consultations, and support the sales process.
  • Proficiency with CAD or similar design software and good visual design sense.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience in interior design or kitchen design; relevant certifications or qualifications are an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers, and installers on-site in Sheffield.
