Kitchen Designer | Creative Studio
Reports to: Head of Clients & Creative
Location: Bristol
OVERVIEW:
At Sustainable Kitchens, we believe the best kitchens are more than beautiful rooms; they’re pieces of architecture, designed around how people live and made to last.
For 15 years, our Bristol studio has challenged the conventional kitchen industry, bringing together exceptional design, honest materials, and skilled craftsmanship to create spaces with character, longevity, and purpose.
We’re looking for a highly creative designer with an architectural eye, someone who sees beyond cabinetry and standard layouts, understands proportion, space, materials and light, and has the confidence to push ideas further. Someone who cares deeply about the details, but never loses sight of the bigger picture.
You’ll join a passionate, design-led team where great ideas are encouraged, individuality is valued, and every project is an opportunity to create something genuinely considered. From period homes and ambitious renovations to contemporary architectural spaces, our work is varied, personal and never off-the-shelf.
If you’re an exceptional designer who wants to do work you can be proud of, work alongside talented people, and be part of a company with a point of view, we’d love to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Join Our Creative, Sustainability-Focused Team.
We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and experienced Kitchen Designer to become an integral part of our close-knit, creative studio. This is a unique, exciting opportunity to join a purpose-driven company where sustainability and design excellence go hand in hand.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
