Company Description

When we founded Benugo we had a vision of not just creating superb, natural food but of giving London something that was a real experience. This vision is still true today. The Benugo brand stretches from our own award-winning high street stores to cafes and restaurants within some of the world’s best loved public spaces and visitor attraction.

We are incredibly proud to be growing our partnership with John Lewis to deliver a new brand for their in-store restaurants in 32 of the retailer's stores. This is an incredibly exciting time to reimagine the offering with fresh, quality ingredients which are thoughtfully sourced and rooted in local suppliers.

We are seeking an exceptional Kitchen Leader to support the culinary team in excellence. This is a rare opportunity representing two respected brands, delivering an outstanding food experience that reflects innovation, quality, and attention to detail at every level.

Job Description

  • Ensuring the customer experience is maintained to the highest standard at all times.
  • To ensure food safety compliance including any allergen, temperature checks and administration is completed.
  • To be responsible for a specific area or food offering, with flexibility to rotate to a new area if needed.
  • To organise deliveries, checking delivery notes, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • To support the management in the delivery of weekly stock variance targets and food cost.
  • Ensure all dishes and menu items are produced consistently in line with the specifications.
  • To carry out daily team briefings and assist with any team queries.
  • To ensure all legislative and government guidelines are adhered to, such as Health and Safety, Food Safety and COSHH.
  • To work on tills, following the cash handling procedures, taking orders and serving food and drinks.
  • To assist with the development of the team, providing training where required, especially on the areas of the food and beverage service, supporting management in the delivery of labour effectiveness targets.
  • To attend all training and development courses as requested.
  • To always represent WSH and John Lewis in a professional manner in your behaviour, appearance, and knowledge.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as required by management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
