Joining Growth Kitchen as a Kitchen Manager
At Growth Kitchen, we run delivery-led kitchens across England and Scotland and cook for some of the UK's best-loved food brands. As Kitchen Manager / Head Chef, you'll lead the team at the heart of the operation. You'll be responsible for the food going out under several brands at once, and every order needs to be fast, consistent and to spec. You'll lead your team and run the kitchen day to day, keeping food safety and quality standards high. You'll also work closely with our operations team, using data on order volumes, prep times and customer ratings to keep improving how your kitchen performs. It's a busy, varied role with real ownership, and it suits someone who enjoys fast service and takes pride in getting the details right. You'll also be part of a business that's growing quickly and gives good people room to grow with it.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
