Position: Kitchen Porter

Hourly Rate: £9.50 - £12.71 per hour plus service charge plus benefits

As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play an important role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and equipment, while supporting our chefs with the smooth running of the day-to-day operation. You’ll also have the opportunity to assist with food preparation when required, giving you valuable insight and experience within a professional kitchen.

Your Day With Team Carden

  • Washing cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Keeping work surfaces, floors, and walls clean, tidy, and hygienic.
  • Supporting the chefs with daily kitchen tasks.
  • Assisting with food preparation when required.
  • Helping to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Working as part of the wider kitchen team to support the smooth running of the operation.

Due to the rural location of Carden Park, applicants should have access to a vehicle or reliable transport methods; we also have a staff minibus that runs regularly from Wrexham.

Be Part of Team Carden

Providing world-class service is at the heart of everything we do. You will be part of a creative, busy, and energetic team of Chefs who cater for our guests across 8 kitchens throughout the resort. You will be enthusiastic, a great team player with experience of working in busy kitchens, and the ability to work calmly under pressure. As part of the Carden kitchen team, you will need to have previous proven experience of working within quality establishments preparing and producing meals to the highest standard. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a luxury resort and learn from the excellent Chef brigade.
