Job Description
Our Kitchen Porters
Our Kitchen Porters play an integral part in ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the catering operation within the Inner Temple over a 7-day period.
Salary: £29,000 per annum
Predominately Monday to Friday, occasional weekend.
- Closed for the whole month of August and open again on the 7th of September.
- Closed for Christmas on Monday the 21st of December. Returning on Monday January the 4th.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure all areas of the kitchens and service areas on all floors are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.
- To work in all areas of the kitchen according to the weekly rota.
- To ensure all areas are regularly checked for maintenance and repairs.
- To maintain catering storage areas, ensuring they are always organized and clean.
- To assist with goods-in, counting and storing them correctly.
- To support with some food preparation when required.

Qualifications
- Hard-working and willing to learn
- Excellent communication skills
