Company Description
We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Porter to assist the Kitchen Team in the day to day running of the Kitchen. As a Kitchen Porter you will play a crucial role in supporting kitchen staff by ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen areas, as well as assisting with basic food preparation.
The role will be based at Point of Ayr near Talacre in a brand new facility.

Job Description
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sinks, countertops, and floors.
- Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, dishes, and equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in storage areas and ensure food safety standards are followed.
- Assist with waste management and recycling.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation tasks such as washing vegetables and cutting ingredients.
- Organise and store kitchen supplies, ensuring they are readily available for use.
- Help with unloading deliveries and storing items appropriately.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or cleaning role is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
Rate Per Hour: £12.71
Employment Type: Permanent
Hours Per Week: 40
Compensation: up to GBP 26640 - yearly
