Salary: £13.45/hour

Job Description

As our next Kitchen Porter, you will:

  • Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in the proper storage and rotation of food items to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage.
  • Assist with the disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy workstation, including regular cleaning of floors, walls, and work surfaces.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper handling and storage of ingredients.
  • Observe excellent food hygiene practice through the entire food chain from storage through to preparation and service.
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef
