Are you reliable, hardworking, and passionate about keeping things spotless behind the scenes? Join our dynamic kitchen team at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel as a Full-Time Kitchen Porter, working 40 hours per week.
About The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our busy kitchen. You’ll ensure that all kitchen and wash-up areas are spotless and equipment is cleaned, stored, and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, including equipment and utensils.
- Ensure all crockery and kitchenware are promptly cleaned and correctly stored.
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and uphold food hygiene regulations.
- Promptly clean any breakages or spillages to avoid accidents.
- Support the wider kitchen team with ad hoc duties as required.

What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage, but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- High standards of personal hygiene and appearance.
- Good understanding of basic food hygiene practices.
- A good level of spoken English is essential.
