Kitchen Porter Recruitment at Conference Venue in Cookham
We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our conference venues in Cookham SL6 9QH.

About the Role
We are looking for a positive, honest, and reliable individual to join our friendly and hardworking team. For the right candidate, we offer excellent training and opportunities for growth within the business.
As a Kitchen Porter, you will work 40 hours per week across 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, with shifts varying from early morning starts to late evening finishes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
- Carrying out general cleaning duties
- Unloading deliveries
- Assisting with stock takes
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, take pride in maintaining high standards, and be flexible and adaptable in a busy kitchen environment.
Skills and Experience
- Have experience working in a similar role and environment
- Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment
- Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy
- Have a can-do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 8
- Be customer focused
- Have basic food knowledge
- Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
