We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team.

The Role

Your Key Duties Will Include

  • Ensure a continuous supply of clean and sanitised dishes, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment for all hotel operations.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, pot wash, dishwashing areas, and back-of-house facilities.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support the kitchen team with cleaning, waste management, banquet operations, and other operational duties as required.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, provide excellent guest service when required, and carry out reasonable management requests while maintaining professional standards.

The Person

  • Show involvement and be interested in environmental and/or social issues by participating in Responsible Business hotel and departmental activities
  • Adopts work methods that actively promote a responsible business culture e.g. turning off lights when not in use / turning off taps & recycling where ever possible.
  • Encourages team to work in a manner which actively promotes responsible business
